Dead Cells Major Update – Pimp My Run

Dead Cells update, Pimp My Run brings new Custom Mode editor and many more changes, including 60FPS on Switch.

Motion Twin’s platformer Dead Cells has just had an overhaul completed for console players, and it’s pretty exciting.

The awesome update known as Pimp My Run was rolled out and brings with it 60FPS on Switch, a large range of adjustments that have balanced out anything from mutations, item drops and skills, as well as Cooldown tweeks.

Pimp My Run is looking like a pretty big deal right about now, with the Custom Mode allowing players to completely customise their run from gold, weapons, chest curses, timers, and a whole bunch of creative inputs.

Other changes made to time challenge doors means that the game will foucs more on the speed aspect rather than the hunt, which altogether feels better. But the key component of this massive Dead Cells update is not the adjustments and performance maintenance that have created a smoother experience, instead, it is the Custom Mode editor that players will be able to access once they have completed the game.

Dead Cells is available on PC, Xbox One, Switch, and PS4

Dead Cells is a roguelike-metroidvania video game developed and published by Motion Twin. Following about a year in early access, Dead Cells was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 7, 2018.
